SUMMARY
Meelahko is an Ordean girl, age 8-16, who is propelled onto the streets of Ordovi after her parent's ruthless murder. She must learn to survive or succumb to the inevitable, DEATH. When Meelahko is captured and forced to work under Madame V'Koona, she discovers she carries a magical gift. While in captivity, Meelahko quickly facilitates the use of this gift to earn special privileges. Then she meets Ashki, and everything changes.
Will Meelahko be able to outsmart her captor or will she be silenced forever?

First book of business:
Learning how to integrate flashback correctly. Since my story is written in the past tense, I must figure out how to use past perfect tense correctly to set up the scenes. UGH! Time for my magical wand AND sword.
Everything is ALWAYS a work-in-progress and like any creative endeavor the journey typically leads into the unknown. As all writers and artists experience, the creative process takes on a life of its own. To me, that's part of the beauty, to tell a story that is as much about structure as it is about a writer's intutive niggle. Your patronage and support is greatly appreciated!
