Madeline Gouin is a writer, author, filmmaker and storyteller. She began her career as a poet at the young age of thirteen years old, took a hiatus, raised children, healed from broken dreams and a broken heart, volunteered with a local indie film project, and eventually found her way back to telling stories. In a recent interview with a family friend she confided that her father was the silent force who encouraged her to write.

"One Christmas my father surprised me with a golden pen. That gift became my beacon of light--a gentle whisper to never give up! And even though this pen disappeared due to unfortunate circumstances, the visual memory of that pen has stayed with me. More importantly, the kind gesture of love my father communicated to me without saying a word.”

Since 1999 Madeline has immersed herself in the craft of writing both as an author and a screenwriter. When COVID 19 found its way into all our lives, Madeline decided it was time to go back to school. She enrolled in the MFA David Lynch Screenwriting and Cinematography Program at Maharishi International University. She will graduate in 2022.

Madeline is currently working on her first short, "Dark Eyes" which is a minimalist do-it-yourself piece of work brought to light through meditation, her first feature, "Blessing," and Blood Jewel, a speculative fiction YA book series.

When I asked Madeline what her mission is in life she simply stated, “To live blissfully as an artist, become my own authority in the industry, tell stories, do what I love--and that includes Meditation!" (Wink! Wink!)
